Ms. Dolly Dai

My name is Dai Shuangfeng, and my students call me Ms. Dolly, which is my English name. I graduated from Zhejiang Ocean University in 2012 with a degree in Chinese Language and Literature.

I have several years of experience as a Course Consultant at an English training centre. In 2016, I taught Mandarin to foreigners part-time in Shanghai. From 2017 to 2022, I returned to my hometown and worked as a Chinese teacher at a vocational school, where my students ranged from 17 to 19 years old.

As for my personality, I would describe myself as sweet-tempered, cooperative, and devoted, with a strong sense of responsibility. I truly believe that I was born to be a teacher. I have a passion for languages, especially Chinese and English, and I particularly love teaching Chinese as a second language. It gives me great opportunities to communicate with people from various countries and backgrounds.

I sincerely enjoy teaching, love my work, and care deeply for my students. I can quickly identify the areas where students are confused and guide them to find solutions using their existing knowledge. I have a strong interest in literature and history, possess strong language skills, and am known for my humour, which helps create a relaxed classroom atmosphere. I excel at achieving course goals while ensuring students enjoy the learning process, which is why I am loved by my students.
